I have finished Speak and will begin writing a review which I hope to have done by the end of today. I have discovered that there is in fact a movie. My hopes is sometime this week to watch the movies for both Speak and Paper Towns. I hope to start a new book, if i stay, by the end of today. I chose if i stay because I have already seen the movie for it and really enjoyed it. However, I am curious about the book and how its different than the movie. I hope it also goes into more detail. I plan on rewatching the movie after I finish the book.

This week I have finished writing the Paper Towns book review and posted it. I still have to write the book review for Born A Crime. I have started my next book, Speak, which I hope to finish this week and start the review for it. In the new book I am currently on page 50 of 197.
With only two weeks left for this project I'm really trying to get things done and wrapped up for the deadline. To do so my goal for this week is to not procrastinate at all and to stop making excuses. This week I have began writing a book review for Paper Towns. I have also got my next book which ended up being Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson. I have begun that book this week. I chose Speak because I liked the summary on the back of the book as well as it being a book that I had access to so I could continue with this project without the delay of trying to find a book at the county or school library. Speak is about Melinda Sordino a high school freshman who busted an end of summer party by calling the cops. People at her school socially reject her and torment her for not saying why she called the cops.
This week I have finished two books Paper Towns which I know need to write a review on and a book we read for my English class called Born A Crime by Trevor Noah which I will also write a review for and then I hope this Saturday to start We Were Liars by E. Lockhart. I decided to read this book first instead of If i Stay because it seemed more intriguing to me. It stood out a bit more then the other one. However I still plan to read it. If I can't find We Were Liars at the library by Saturday I will look for If i Stay. If I can't find that I'll chose something else from the list.
This week I have continued to read and fill my log. I have began to set a set time of reading to 8:00 pm every night and then if I have time during the day to read then I will continue to read. In Paper Towns I'm on page 200 so I have 105 more pages and then I have to write the book review. After I have finish this book by the end of today and hopefully have the book review done by the end of the week I hope to start a new book. I'm not sure which book I will start next but I hope to either start If I Stay by Gayle Forman or We Were Liars by e.Lockhart. I chose to add If I stay to the list of books to read because I have seen the movie already and loved it and want to see if I like the book better. I also chose it for the store line of her and her family getting into a car crash and while fighting for her life she has to decide if she will stay. I chose this one because I liked the cover but also because of what the book is about. One summer Cadence goes to her grandfathers island to spend time with her clearly fractured family. There's an accident that causes her to lose her memory of that summer. Two years later she returns to find things very different and she begins to search for answers about what happened that summer from her cousins that the family calls "The Liars".
As I have been reading I've been keeping a log of what days I read. I've realized by looking at the log that the days I read more than others are Tuesdays and Wednesday. I'm going to use that to my advantage and set times on those days to make sure I read. I'm still on Paper Towns and considering I am currently half way through this project and only on the second book is not good. Hopefully by making set times each day to read then I will get done and through books quicker.
So far I'm on page 49 of 305. I would like to be done by the end of this week but seeing as in the past weeks I've yet to do that I am setting a goal of being on at least page 200 by the end of the week. Along with set times I have decided to set weekly page goals. So far I have found that I am not where I would like to be almost half way through this project. I have only finished one book and wrote one review. I really need to find more time to read as well as a better way to manage my time to make sure this project is done on time. I also need to plan ahead on how to get the next book I plan on reading so I don't have the same problem as last week with not being able to get a book.
As far as my goal for this week it is to finish Paper Towns and write the review as well as to document when I read. That way I can know which days I had time to read and which I didn't to hopefully make a consistent reading schedule. I believe by having a schedule I can get more reading done and finish a lot more books, especially the books I have listed, and reviews done by the end of the twelve weeks. This past week was spring break for us. I went to the public library to get The Waning Age however they did not have it. I decided to try to find another book. I was unable to get another book until Tuesday. I have started Paper Towns by John Green. I have started the book and am on page 22. I chose Paper Towns because of the mystery element of it. Paper Towns is about Quentin and the girl he loves Margo.
Two days ago I finished The Hate U Give and have written the book review for it which can be found at: https://er-book-reviews.weebly.com/ I have decided to also watch the movie for The Hate U Give to see the differences and similarities between the two I haven't decided but I may post something on the differences and similarities I find.
Since I have finished The Hate U Give I hope to start The Waning Age by S.E. Grove as well as finish it and start a review on it by the end of the week. I chose The Waning Age because the storyline of teens possibly losing their feelings of "Waning" as well as a girl stopping at nothing to save her brother seemed interesting to me. I've become very aware of my great procrastination skills and creative excuses. I have yet to finish The Hate U Give, I'm on page 182 out of 444 pages. I have also realized that a fundraiser along with this project is not ideal for me at this time so I am dropping the fundraiser. This project is now just a personal goal of reading books and writing reviews on each one. I have also decided to have a separate website for the reviews. I will include the website link within this one after I have it set up. So my goal for this week is to learn to handle my procrastination and excuses and finish The Hate U Give write the review on It and began the next book before Monday March 18th 2019.
